River Murray at Loxton in Flood

January 26, 2011 | Filed under: Ramblin' On and tagged with: Photos

These are photos that we took at Loxton.

The river levels are rising, so much so that we could not drive down to Hebel’s Bend.

The caravan park has relocated all the on-site cabins to higher ground as well as relocating their office.

It is anticipated that the river will rise and fall at least three times over the next six months as water flows into the Murray from its huge catchment area.
